This is a parliamentary submission to the Joint Committee on Law Enforcement’s inquiry examining law enforcement capabilities in relation to child exploitation, from Dr William Stoltz, Senior Adviser for Public Policy at the ANU National Security. Dr Stoltz outlines how the Commonwealth Government can take a harder line on holding Facebook accountable for child exploitation on its platforms. He goes on to articulate how the Minister for Home Affairs could shut down Facebook’s operations, should they fail to improve.
