Policy Engagement

Policy Engagement

A trusted partner

The National Security College (NSC) is a trusted venue for bringing diverse perspectives together to tackle policy challenges. Events range from public conferences that combine domestic and international, public and private expertise, to closed-door forums for frank and confidential discussions into current policy issues and challenges. For more information about our work and upcoming activities, please contact us at national.security.college@anu.edu.au

A rigorous public voice

The NSC has a unique analytical perspective as it sits at the intersection of the research and policy worlds. Our team includes highly qualified researchers and senior seconded staff from government agencies who are linked in with current policy thinking. The engagement team’s flagship publications are Policy Options Papers which provide analysis and policy recommendations in an accessible, easy to read format. We also offer publicly available podcasts, expert commentary, social media updates and longer research reports. Wherever possible, most of our major events are on the public record.
