Summary
From election interference to COVID-19 conspiracies, a host of actors across the globe are finding new ways to exploit and weaponise information. Is Australia sufficiently prepared to respond? What do we need to do to address misinformation, disinformation, propaganda and fake news? We attempt to answer these questions and more, as we provide a strategic overview of information manipulation, global actors’ strategies and tactics, and the implications for our national security.
No security clearance required.
