Summary

The planned purchase of nuclear submarines under the AUKUS partnership presents capability, support and policy challenges for Australia. This one-and-a-half day program will build participants’ understanding of AUKUS, nuclear technologies and nuclear submarines as a sovereign capability. It will also provide a brief introduction to national capabilities needed to support nuclear submarines and the laws and regulations that govern their use.

This program will be offered twice in 2023.

No security clearance required.
