Referencing the PNG and Bougainville outlook into the future, join academics and experts to closely examine the state of the economy, political and social outlooks, defence priorities and aspirations, technical developments, internal security challenges, strategic objectives, and the implications for the Indo-Pacific and Australia.

Participants will critically examine the following issues:

• Challenges for governance and stability;
• Economic directions including implications of resources projects
• Domestic politics and security
• Interests and roles of external powers, including vulnerability to external influences.

This two-day program is designed for professionals, analysts, and leaders who would benefit from a deeper understanding of PNG and Bougainville, its implications for Australian public policy and Australian national security interests in particular.
