Summary

This introductory program—aimed at practitioners from state and territory governments and the private sector—provides participants the opportunity to examine the issues, challenges and opportunities facing Australia in an increasingly complex national security environment. Participants will engage with a range of thought leaders and experts on Australia’s current and emerging security challenges and deepen their understanding of state, territory and Commonwealth inter-dependencies and coordination mechanisms. The course will include opportunities for state and territory participants to caucus with each other and Commonwealth counterparts with a view to fostering a national security community of practice across our governments.
