South Korea’s subtly calibrated risk aversion in the face of outrageous North Korean hawkishness has kept the two countries from war.

New research by National Security College academics Professor Roger Bradbury and Dmitry Brizhinev may provide the answer. They outline their approach along with co-author Admiral Chris Barrie (Ret’d) from the ANU Strategic and Defence Studies Centre in this article for The Conversation.
